This one-hour lecture is a practical, lawyer-focused tour of how AI is being used in practice and a discussion on what courts are saying about it. The lecture looks at where risks arise, and how to adopt defensible, ethical best practices. The lecture cover current AI trends in court case studies from Ireland, the US, and the UK, ethical and professional conduct considerations, risks (including hallucinations), best practices, and the future outlook.
