Co-Habitation v Partition Proceedings?

As the number of individuals who are in co-habitation relationships in Ireland grow, the question often arises as to whether disputes between co-habiting partners should be brough in the Family Law Court or in the Civil Court. Lawyer must often consider whether the dispute is more suitable to Sections 30/ 31 of The Land Law & Conveyancing Act 2009 or Part 15 of Civil Partnership and Certain Rights of Cohabitants Act 2010. This one-hour lecture deals with the advantages and disadvantages of each.
