Member States were required to introduce national implementing legislation by 10 January 2020 transposing the 5th AML Directive into law. The Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) (Amendment) Bill 2020 (the Bill) proposes to amend the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Acts 2010-2018 (the Acts). The Bill transposes many of the elements of 5AMLD.
