The Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal was brought into effect in November 2020. However, it was not until 5th April 2022 that it was formally launched. The new Disciplinary Tribunal has been bolstered by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal Regulations 2021 (S.I. No. 786 of 2021) BUT The Regulations can only be truly understood by having regard to The Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 which essentially underpins those Regulations.
